I must admit this is personal. Officer Mitchell was a former wrestler at South Stokes High School. He was a standout for the Sauras finishing his career as an All-State wrestler after placing 4th in the state tournament. Losing his life while serving the public is heart wrenching. My sincerest condolences to all who knew him, especially his family and children, one of whom will never get a chance to meet her father.

There is a wrestling tournament this weekend at South Stokes HS. I’m sure there will be a moment of silence for Kaleb. Anyone wishing to attend should feel free to do so.
